About Us

Vubiq Networks: Making V-Band Ubiquitous

Vubiq Networks, Inc. is a privately held wireless networking technology company headquartered in Irvine, California. Our focus is on high-bandwidth, millimeter wave wireless link transmission products that enable multi-gigabit speed transport for broadband wireless fiber extensions, wireless metropolitan area networks, and mobile backhaul applications.

Our Mission

As an innovator in millimeter wireless technology, our mission is to deliver advanced and cost-effective broadband infrastructure products and solutions targeting the bandwidth-hungry global markets for wireless connectivity and mobile data transport.

Our History

Leveraging years of development, Vubiq focuses on a new generation of millimeter wave wireless products with advanced networking features for today’s high-bandwidth applications. Using our team’s extensive industry experience, we concentrate on the development of leading-edge millimeter wave wireless technology.

Our founder and CTO, Mike Pettus brings deep experience in wireless components, circuit and system-level design. He played a significant role in the formation of U.S. unlicensed spectrum rules during their initial development stages.

At the beginning, our group formed a strategic partnership agreement that made available the latest high-frequency silicon process technologies. This arrangement enabled creation of some of the first single-chip millimeter wave development systems and communications products. We have been known as a thought leader for the commercialization of very high throughput wireless innovation and were the first global firm to offer components and development systems using silicon-based millimeter wave integrated circuits.

As a network communications technology innovator, Vubiq owns a strong portfolio of 14 patents in millimeter wave components and system-level network communications, in addition to several patent applications currently in process.
